MSAA Hall Of Fame Tailgate Weekend was a huge success! We thank the Keg Sponsors and volunteers who helped that day. We could not have done it without you! We also had The Capitolaires and the Alumni Breakfast Club in attendance. Let's make this another tradition for this beautiful event. It's such a great mix of Drum Corps people. Plans are now underway for the 2025 Tailgate. See how you can get involved.

A new class of age-outs has joined our ever-increasing ranks of Madison Scouts Alumni. This year, as in years past, representatives of the MSAA gathered and held a ceremony for the newly aged-out members, presenting them with a neckerchief, information on how to stay connected, and some words of welcome! Let's Welcome our new Alumni!
Starting this month, we will post two new sections: Madison Moments and Spotlight on Alumni. I will be the sacrificial lamb and take the first Spotlight on Alumni.
November Spotlight on Alumni
My name is Randy Ferrie. I am from Rockdale, Massachusetts. I started marching in the Valley Airs in 1968 at 10 years old. I auditioned over the phone for Scott Stewart in the fall of 1976. He told me to come on to Madison. I marched with the Corps in 1977 & 1978. I have since marched in various Alumni corps and still play some 56 years later. I have been on the Scouts board for three stints doing multiple tasks, one being Bingo at the Labor Temple for 3 years. In 2005 I had a crazy idea about putting together a Madison Scouts Alumni Corps which was aptly named “The Project”. I went to Madison with an idea and assembled our Scott Pearson and Scott Stewart team. From there, it grew into the most extraordinary alumni show to date. In 2017, we started the MSAA with myself, Brent Turner, Kent Eversmeyer, Joe Murray, and Scott Pearson. I was honored to be the inaugural President of the group and the current Chairman and Scouts Board member. The MSAA has since grown, and we are doing much to support our current Marching Scouts. We would love to have you join us in helping us Support OUR Madison Scouts.
We would love to have you get involved with the MSAA. Monthly meetings are on the third Sunday of each month. Get involved, get to know your Alumni, and help the Madison Scouts.

Looking forward to seeing you!
