The response to our initial survey has been encouraging enough for us to move forward with a second survey. More than 400 alumni sent us their survey expressing a 'yes' or 'maybe' response. Anyone can fill out this second survey, even if you did not fill out the initial survey. The results of this second survey will determine if we, in fact, participate in the Rose Parade in 2026. Regarding everyone’s big question about the cost for each participant, the more participants there are, the lower the price per person will be. That also means that the fewer participants, the more cost per person will be.
Please spread the word to all alumni in the Capitolaires, Capitolaires Petites, State Street Review, Capital Sound, Madison Junior/Boy Scouts, Madison Scouts, and 32nd Hussars, and encourage them to complete this second survey. This survey will take a little longer than the first, as we are now looking at where each person would fit within each section and to provide us more insight into individual needs, including a budget for participation. This project has the potential to create many fond memories and bring together our drum bugle corps families. Please submit your response to us before April 1st (No April foolin')
Thank you,
Craig Mason, Scott Pearson, and David Lofy
