The 2024 season has ended, and the 2025 season's groundwork is underway. This past season went by way too fast. We have had an exciting year of events that many Alumni participated in! Our Scouts had a fantastic year. Fighting their way back into the top 12. Please help support the corps in keeping this impressive momentum as we advance! Participation is vital in helping us grow our great organization and support our Madison Scouts. The 2024 Hall of Fame Class of Hall 2025 nominations will be open on October 15, 2024. I want to thank the HOF committee members for their hard work and dedication in recognizing these individuals.
CH Beebe: Please donate to the CH Beebe campaign. Each donation will be recognized on our booster boards, and you will receive a CH Beebe commemorative challenge coin. This will help a deserving Scout attain their dream of becoming a Scout!!
The 2024 Tee Shirt will be the result of a contest to design “The 2025 Shirt.” The parameters of the contest will be announced soon. So get your design caps on, and who knows, your great design could be shown across the country!
MSAA Hall of Fame Tailgate Weekend was a huge success! I would like to thank all the Keg Sponsors and all the volunteers who helped out that day. We could not have done it without you! We also had The Capitolaires and the Alumni Breakfast Club in attendance. Let's make this another tradition for this wonderful event. It's such a great mix of Drum Corps people. Plans are now underway for the 2025 Tailgate. See how you can get involved.
In 2024, we feed the corps in Middleton at the MSAA Hall of Fame, Drums OnTailgate, and San Antonio with a Texas BBQ, Scouts Style. We want to add two additional locations to feed the 2025 Madison Scouts. This will be a great opportunity for a group of Alumni to show your support for our Madison Scouts.
In 2025, we will focus on the Madison Scout Alumni Chapters nationwide. Chapter leaders are being contacted to see what we can do to grow these local groups to get together.
A new class of age-outs has joined our ever-increasing ranks of Madison Scouts Alumni. This year, as in years past, representatives of the MSAA gathered and held a ceremony for the newly aged-out members, presenting them with a neckerchief, information on how to stay connected, and some words of welcome! Let's Welcome our new Alumni!
We would love to have you get involved with the MSAA. Monthly meetings are on the third Sunday of each month. Get involved, get to know your Alumni, and help the Madison Scouts.
Looking forward to seeing you!
Randy Ferrie
