A very special thank you to Craig Mason and our Madison Scout brothers, Greg Jarosz, Chris Forbes, Norm Bakker, Kent Eversmeyer, Tim Spilde, Al Kent, Tom Brys, Josh Forbord, and Jim Latimer for adding a cherry to the top of an already great weekend of Drums on Parade events with your performance to kick off the show.
The Madison Scouts, Forward Performing Arts, and the Madison Scouts Alumni Association (MSAA) inducted the 2025 Class to the Madison Scouts Hall of Fame as part of the MSAA Drums on Parade Tailgate, including recognition of long-serving volunteers Barb Loeffelholz, Patty Omilianowski, Henry Barney, Ollie Mae Banks, E.B. Matthews, Christopher (Metzger) Forbes, and Doug Tholo. The induction ceremony was part of the Scouts' home show, “Drums on Parade,” and was held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Middleton High School in Middleton. The MSAA MSHOF Tailgate ceremony was anchored at the beginning by the 2024 Madison Scouts performing the opening hit from Malaguena, followed by an excerpt from the 1999 and 2016 production of Jesus Christ Superstar, from an arc pointed at the alumni, family, and friends gathered in and around the MSAA Tailgate at Fireman’s Park Pavilion.
The 2025 DOP tailgate promises to be another great time. Last year was such a success that we're expanding food options to include chili and sweet corn. Be sure to stop by the tailgate to mingle and enjoy the alumni environment. Check out the menu and prices so you can plan ahead to be with us.
On June 29 in Middleton, WI, and on July 6 in Whitewater, WI, alumni from the Madison area drum corps performed the National Anthem before each show. Former Capitolaires and Phantom Regiment Drum Major Marcia Hansen conducted at the Middleton Show, and former Scouts Drum Major Craig Mason conducted at the Whitewater Show.

Please consider financially supporting one of the MSAA’s events this year!
Nothing is better than tapping a keg of Spotted Cow and knowing that you’re the reason it’s there. So help us by sponsoring a keg at either of our two tailgates this year! A donation of $200 can turn into almost $500 for the corps. You can sponsor the keg by yourself or with a group. This is a great way to represent your age-out year, your section, a family member, or honor somebody’s memory.
Well, it’s just about here. Drums On Parade weekend. The biggest Alumni and Scouts gathering of the year! It's not too late to sponsor a Keg , please consider Sponsoring a Keg of beer for the tailgate. For a donation of $200, which can turn into almost $500 for the CH Beebe Scholarship fund.
