The Madison Scouts, Forward Performing Arts, and the Madison Scouts Alumni Association (MSAA) inducted the 2025 Class to the Madison Scouts Hall of Fame as part of the MSAA Drums on Parade Tailgate, including recognition of long-serving volunteers Barb Loeffelholz, Patty Omilianowski, Henry Barney, Ollie Mae Banks, E.B. Matthews, Christopher (Metzger) Forbes, and Doug Tholo. The induction ceremony was part of the Scouts' home show, “Drums on Parade,” and was held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Middleton High School in Middleton. The MSAA MSHOF Tailgate ceremony was anchored at the beginning by the 2024 Madison Scouts performing the opening hit from Malaguena, followed by an excerpt from the 1999 and 2016 production of Jesus Christ Superstar, from an arc pointed at the alumni, family, and friends gathered in and around the MSAA Tailgate at Fireman’s Park Pavilion.

It was extraordinary to have Barb Loeffelholz and family present to receive this recognition on behalf of Patty Omilianowski and Henry Barney. Family members of Ollie Mae Banks and E.B. Matthews (how cool is it that they were brother and sister!) were present to receive recognition from their Madison Scout family. There was a buzz of appreciation among the picnic tables when both Chris Forbes and Doug Tholo were recognized for their contributions and service to the Madison Scouts. Heartfelt acknowledgements of gratitude were also extended to the family members of those inductees who have gone before us.

The culmination of honoring individuals who have gone above and beyond to make the corps what it is today was a “Toast” to the 2025 MSHOF inductees, followed by gathering all Madison Scouts Alumni and the 2025 Madison Scouts together to sing You’ll Never Walk Alone. It was a special moment for all.

Additional recognition to the 2025 MSHOF Class and their families was shared with the full Drums on Parade audience from the 50-yard line at the drum corps competition before the scores and encore with emphasis that all proceeds from the MSAA Tailgate and the Madison Scouts Hall of Fame go to benefit the C.H. Beebe Scholarship Fund.

Established in 2022, the Madison Scouts Hall of Fame honors the outstanding achievements of instructors, designers, administrators, performers, and volunteers who have impacted the Madison Scouts organization in monumental ways throughout its long history. Their contributions reflect the high level of training received and the leadership experience gained as a Madison Scout.

The Madison Scouts Hall of Fame serves as the vehicle to honor great Madison Scouts and ensure the legacy of these individuals and the ideals they embody are preserved and carried forward.

The recognition award for the Madison Scouts Hall of Fame is a recreation of a sculpture called “The Ideal Scout,” awarded to C.H. Beebe in the 1950s. The Ideal Scout sculpture is also depicted in the hall logo.
