Next summer, on Saturday, July 4, 2026, the United States Semiquincentennial (also known as the Sestercentennial or Quarter Millennial) will mark the 250th anniversary of the 1776 United States Declaration of Independence (formally "The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America"). Festivities will be scheduled in Philadelphia to mark various events leading up to the anniversary on July 4, 2026. We aim to showcase the drum and bugle corps activity for this historic celebration, as they have played an integral role throughout our nation's history.
