We're halfway through, and many people have said yes, though a few are still unsure. We recently sent a reminder to MCA subscribers and others interested via our email list (Aug 15), letting them know we have two weeks left to accept surveys, so don't be on the outside looking in! The Great American Drum and Bugle Corps Event

Are you looking for a neat opportunity to march with other drum corps alumni?

Next summer, on Saturday, July 4, 2026, the United States Semiquincentennial (also known as the Sestercentennial or Quarter Millennial) will mark the 250th anniversary of the 1776 United States Declaration of Independence (formally "The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America"). Festivities will be scheduled in Philadelphia to mark various events leading up to the anniversary on July 4, 2026. We aim to showcase the drum and bugle corps activity for this historic celebration, as they have played an integral role throughout our nation's history. What better way to celebrate our nation's birthday than to be in Philadelphia for the Welcome America festivities?
