Are you interested in helping the MSAA in 2024? We are currently looking for volunteers for ALL of our committees and for special projects! Volunteering through the MSAA allows you to play an active role in shaping the Alumni Association, meet other alumni from all eras, and support the Madison Scouts!
Are you a fundraising expert? Do you want to help out at a tailgate? Maybe you want to help design this year's vintage t-shirt! Or maybe you can help organize our history at the warehouse.
Whatever you're interested in doing, we'd love to have you. We can't do this alone!

MSAA committees usually meet once a month for about an hour. The committee chairperson can work with your schedule to find a time to meet that works for everybody!
Current MSAA committees include:
- Alumni Performance (Planning future alumni events! Working with MSARP or other performance groups)
- Chapters (Starting a new chapter in your area or working with an existing one)
- Communications (Helping with MSAA's marketing, newsletter, Facebook, Instagram, etc)
- Data & Technology (Updating the MSAA website, archiving member rosters, setting up new tech)
- Events (Helping to plan tailgates or alumni meetups at Madison Scouts shows, or working at a tailgate/meetup)
- Fundraising (Brainstorming and setting up fundraisers such as vintage shirts, souvies, campaigns, and more)
- Governance (Reviewing and editting the MSAA bylaws as needed, preparing for MSAA elections)
- Hall of Fame (Gathering nominations, reviewing candidates, help planning the Ceremony)
- Historical (Working with the Madison Scouts warehouse and archives, writing the corps' history)
- Remembrance (Honoring passed Madison Scouts alumni, sending cards to the family)
We also need help with specific projects that are a one-time volunteer gig!
Current MSAA one-time volunteer roles include:
- Sat June 29th: Drums on Parade tailgate workers
- Sat June 29th: Drums on Parade 50/50 Raffle ticket sellers
- Sat July 6th: Whitewater Classic 50/50 Raffle ticket sellers
