sam recordsHelp us out in 2023!

Are you interested in helping the MSAA? We are currently looking for volunteers for all of our committees. Volunteering through these groups allows you to meet other Scouts alumni from all eras, give back to the organization, and play an active role in shaping the MSAA.

Do you want to help run our social media? Are you a fundraising expert? Maybe you can help design this year's vintage t-shirt! Or maybe you want to help organize our history at the warehouse.

Whatever your specialty, we'd love to have you. We can't do this alone!

Please fill out this volunteer form, and we'll reply soon.

Looking Ahead...

  • Two classic alumni events for the ALS foundation are coming up: #1 Drop the Puck on ALS on March 25th and #2 Rockin' for a Cure on April 29th. Support ALS patients in Wisconsin and spend time with your Scout's family.
  • Mardi Gras 2024! We are exploring possibly doing another Mardi Gras Parade next February 2024, but we need your feedback! Let us know if you're interested so we can get an idea if this is what people want to do.
  • The annual Drums on Parade tailgate and Indianapolis DCI Finals meetups will be bigger and better this year! Start planning now to attend both. We plan on displaying historical items, great drinks and food, the ability to write letters to the current corps members, and (of course) the best drum corps community out there. Do you want to have a tailgate or meet in your area too? Let us know, and we can help coordinate it! We'd love to see groups of passionate alumni meet up at every single show this year!
  • The Vintage Shirts fundraiser is returning this year. For every shirt you order, you also provide one to a current Madison Scout! Proceeds of this fundraiser go to the C.H. Beebe Scholarship Fund, which helps members pay their tuition. Last year we brought the Madison tri-color shirt back to life; this year, we will bring another classic design to your wardrobe! More info will be coming soon.
  • This year, new MSAA items will be in the Scouts' souvenir booth at shows. Check it out to support your Alumni Association! What kind of merch do you want most?

One last thing! Please ensure you've completed all the steps to join the MSAA and that your info is updated at CorpsData.net. Even if you think you're in the clear, please double-check!

Thanks for being a part of MSAA!
