Our Scouts had an excellent 2024, breaking back into the Top 12 at finals after having a great run throughout the year. The 2025 Madison Scouts season will be opening in a few short weeks. This coming 2025 year and season are shaping up to be exciting! We aim to engage many more alumni to support our Scouts and bring the alumni community together socially, reviving old friendships and forming new ones. Please help support the corps and keep this incredible momentum going in the future! Participation is key in helping us grow.
The following content is some of the projects ahead for 2025. As always, we would love for our Alumni base to be part of these activities. We welcome you and look forward to seeing you.
The Madison Scouts Hall of Fame Class of 2025: This year's class for the MSHOF has been announced and will be honored at Drums on Parade Tailgate! I want to thank the HOF committee members for their hard work and dedication in recognizing these individuals.
CH Beebe Scholarship Fund: The 2025 CH Beebe Scholarship Fund has been launched. Please review this; it will also include testimonials from past scholarship winners. Please donate to the 2025 CH Beebe campaign. Each donation will be recognized on our booster boards, and you will receive a commemorative challenge coin from CH Beebe. This will help a deserving Scout realize their dream of becoming a Scout!! Make your donation at the Proshop.
2025 Legacy Shirt: The 2025 Legacy Shirt is in production and will be available soon! It is all Madison. As a reminder, each purchase of this shirt provides a shirt to two members of the 2025 Madison Scouts! We want all alumni, friends, family, and fans to be proud to wear this shirt! Get your Legacy Shirt here.
Mark your calendars for these upcoming Tailgates / Events / Get-togethers:

July 5th Whitewater Show and Tailgate: Madison Scouts, Blue Stars, Blue Coats, Cavaliers, Colt Cadets, Colts, Columbus Saints, Crossmen, Phantom Regiment, Troopers, River City Rhythm. This will be a fantastic show. Be sure to check out the tailgate just outside the stadium as well! We need volunteers to help run the tailgate and concessions, so please fill out our volunteer form. All we ask is that you give one hour to help out. We look forward to seeing everyone!
July 19th, San Antonio BBQ Scouts Style: All Alumni within the San Antonio area are asked to help feed the corps. This is a wonderful Dinner that is also open to friends and family. Tickets will be posted on the Scout's store.
July 25th, Drums On Parade show and Tailgate: Performers include the Madison Scouts, Colts, Cavaliers, Santa Clara Vanguard, Pacific Crest, and River City Rhythm. The preshow tailgate returns, and we'd love to have you there! Once again, we'll host the Madison Scouts Hall of Fame ceremony, be treated to a selection from the 2025 Madison Scouts, followed by a joint performance by current corps members and alumni in the singing of 'You’ll Never Walk Alone.' Last year, we mingled together and spoke with the members as we signed their personal Aussies. We look forward to doing that again this year. This was an excellent highlight of last year's tailgate. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to meet and greet the 2025 version of the Madison Scouts! We need volunteers to help run the tailgate; please fill out our volunteer form. All we ask is that you give one hour to help out. Curious about the menu? Look here.
July 31st, Lawrence, MA: The MSAA and the Valley Airs Alumni of Rockdale, MA, will team up and feed the corps. Any Alumni in the area are welcome to help out with some volunteer time or a donation to the event at the Scouts store labeled: Lawrence Feed the Corps.
August 8th, Indianapolis, IN: A get-together at the age-out ceremony is a wonderful occasion. My goal is to have as many people attend and experience the event. This program will take place right after the Scouts perform at the semi-finals. Just follow the corps out after their performance. More information will be shared as the date approaches.
Last year, we fed the corps at Drums On Parade and in San Antonio, serving Texas BBQ Scouts-style. This year, we would like to provide food for our Scouts at three locations: DOP, San Antonio, and Lawrence, MA! This will have a positive financial impact on the corps' season. Let us know if you and a group of your Alumni friends would like to help support the corps by feeding them along their 2025 tour. Doing this last year was gratifying, and this will be another excellent opportunity to show your support for Our Madison Scouts.
Last year at Drums on Parade, we also had The Capitolaires and the Alumni Breakfast Club in attendance. In 2025, I would like to extend an invitation to all of the corps from Madison to come and set up a drum corps reunion at our tailgate. Those invited are Madison Scouts, Madison Jr Scouts, Capitolaires, Capitolaires Petites, Capital Sound, State Street Review, and the 32nd Hussars. Let's make this another tradition for this wonderful event. Such a great mix of Drum Corps people. See how you can get involved
We are now focusing on the Madison Scout Alumni Chapters across the country. Chapter leaders are being contacted to explore ways to expand these local groups and encourage them to come together. If you would like to be added to the Chapters list, let us know by sending us an email, and we will get you started. Interested in helping us with Chapters? Find more info here.
We would love for you to get involved with the MSAA. Monthly meetings are on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Come to a meeting and see what we are all about, and get to know your Alumni and help our Madison Scouts.
Looking forward to seeing you!
