Dear Scout:
We are entering our 15th year of Drum Corps activities and the corps has been a credit to our families, city, state, and country, and we hope to continue it with your cooperation; so a set of rules is submitted:
- All individual personality is forgotten, and we work as a group.
- No smoking is allowed on any trip at any time.
- No sports clothes are allowed on the trips, only the regulation traveling greens we used the last year. Arrangements are being made to replenish worn-out clothes.
- No jackets are to be worn except on corps trips or activities and then only by the scout himself.
- There is to be no cussing.
- One or more fathers is to accompany all trips and he has the same jurisdiction as the Director.
- No individual cars are to be driven on any trip outside of Madison without the permission of the Director.
- In case you cannot attend, you must notify the Director as soon as possible so you can be replaced by an alternate.
- All clothing must be marked.
- For competition and parade, only the Official Boy Scout shoes will be worn.
- A medical blank must be in our hands by the time of camp opening.
- No initiation whatsoever of new members.
It is hoped that we don't have to dismiss anyone because of an infringement of the rules.
Scoutingly,
C.H. Beebe
Executive Director
