Staying Connected in the Off Season
Just because the summer season is over doesn’t mean the Madison Scouts' spirit has to pause! Many alumni keep the energy alive throughout the year, whether it’s grabbing coffee with a fellow Scout, marching in alumni parades, or even hosting virtual game nights. For example, Jorge Franco is hosting a watch party for the Houston Texans vs the Tennessee Titans game on November 16th in Houston!
Staying connected to our roots in the Madison Scouts is a great way to remember how much we appreciate the corps, even when our marching days are behind us.
We’d love to hear how you’re keeping your connection to the corps alive! Do you get together with other alumni in your city? Have a special off-season tradition with your section? Please share your stories and photos with us! We may feature them in a future newsletter to inspire others to stay connected.
Who will be our next Alumni Spotlight?
Each month in the DCI off-season, we shine a light on a Madison Scouts alum and share their story - on and off the field. We want to highlight how each alum’s time in the corps shaped them, the friendships that continue today, and the ways they carry the Madison Scouts' values into their careers and lives.
Whether you marched decades ago or just aged out, your story is part of our history. We’d love to feature you in an upcoming issue! You don’t have to be a world-famous musician or millionaire executive; we want to hear from YOU!
