Congratulations,
ladies and gentlemen! You have just completed the journey of a lifetime with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. As the final note fades on your incredible age-out performance, you stand on the brink of a new, enduring chapter - one that welcomes you into the Madison Scouts Alumni Association (MSAA).

This is more than just a group; it’s your lifelong link to the Madison Scouts legacy. The MSAA is the bridge connecting you, the newest class of alumni, to 78+ years of fraternity who have marched before you. We are here to extend the spirit of fun, camaraderie, and support that defined your time in the corps and to ensure that powerful connection endures.

Your Place in the Legacy

The MSAA’s primary mission is two-fold: to keep the brotherhood and sisterhood alive across all generations and to provide crucial support to the current Madison Scouts performers as they strive for excellence.

We know the drum corps experience doesn't truly end with your final bow. It evolves. By joining the MSAA, you immediately gain access to a network of individuals who share your passion, understand your dedication, and want to help you navigate life after marching. Whether you're looking for career advice, a friendly face in a new city, or just a chance to reminisce about the good old days, the MSAA is your resource.

Get Plugged In: Events and Activities

Your engagement starts right away! We love to keep the energy high and all Madison Scout alumni connected through a robust calendar of events:

  • Monthly Tag-Up Zooms: The MSAA Board of Directors hosts regular Zoom meetings to keep you in the loop. These are the best place to hear about upcoming events, discuss the next Legacy T-Shirt designs for the corps, and get involved in the planning process.

  • The Texas Tour Barbecue Feast: A yearly highlight! Join us on the corps' Texas tour to share a massive BarBQue feast, hang out with the current members, and offer your support and wisdom. It’s a powerful experience of generational connection.

  • Drums on Parade Tailgate: We rally the alumni base for a massive tailgate celebration around the corps’ annual home show, Drums on Parade, turning a local show into a reunion party and honoring the next class inducted into the Madison Scouts Hall of Fame.

  • East Coast Meetup: Look forward to gathering on the East Coast around the Allentown DCI regional. It’s a chance to see and help feed the corps and experience the legendary East Coast drum corps atmosphere with your fellow alums.

  • Indy Parking Lot Party for DCI 2026: Mark your calendars! We’ll be planning for the legendary alumni gathering and big parking lot parties in Indianapolis for the 2026 DCI World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium as well as the gathering at Tavern on South, organized by FPA Board Chair, Mike Garvin, which is a meet, greet, snack and beverage event with alumni and parents of the current Madison Scout members.

Your chapter with the Madison Scouts is far from over. It's simply transforming into a lifelong membership in a vibrant, supportive, and fun alumni family.

Welcome home, brothers and sisters! We can't wait to see you at the next event.
