Barb Loeffelholz began her volunteer service with the Madison Scouts organization alongside her husband, Adrian, when their sons, Mike (brass), Mark (percussion), and Eric (brass), marched with the Madison Junior Scouts from 1978 to 1981. Adrian and Barb were known to travel with the Jr. Scouts in their motorhome, which was affectionately referred to by its CB call signs, “Leader” and “Yellow Duck.” Barb did many things for the Junior Scouts, including cooking, sewing flags, mending and washing uniforms, and merchandise sales.

Ollie Mae Banks (1924 -1992), cook, Corps Mother, Sister of a Founding Drum Major, Bodyguard, and resolver of disputes.

Ollie Mae Banks was widely known in the Madison Scout community and the drum corps world as the “original” legendary cook technician for the Madison Scouts from 1980 through 1991.

Christopher (Metzger) Forbes is a highly respected figure in the drum corps world, particularly known for his time as a soprano soloist with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. He is widely recognized for his exceptional talent and is considered one of the "gods of Madison soloists."

We are proud to announce the 2025 class of the Madison Scouts Hall of Fame, a group of extraordinary individuals whose dedication, leadership, and service have left a lasting legacy on our organization. This year’s inductees include longtime volunteers Ollie Mae Banks, Barb Loeffelholz, Pat Omilianowski, and Henry Barney; member and instructor Chris Forbes; member, instructor, and board member Doug Tholo; and founding member and one of our original drum majors, Edward “EB” Matthews. Each has played a unique and vital role in shaping the spirit and success of the Madison Scouts.

The Madison Scouts, Forward Performing Arts, and the Madison Scouts Alumni Association are pleased to announce the newly established Madison Scouts Hall of Fame, the highest achievement recognition and honor to individuals who have participated in the Madison Scouts organization throughout its long history.
